A profit estimate you can inspect line by line.

Input ledger

Build one realistic unit

Marketplace-currency fields are converted using your CAD rate. Canadian cost fields stay in CAD. Marketplace-collected sales tax is excluded because it is not seller revenue.

Accuracy protocol

Use authoritative inputs, not fee guesses.

  1. Match the exact listing.Variation, dimensions, shipping weight, category, and dangerous-goods status affect fees.
  2. Copy current fees.Use Amazon Revenue Calculator, Seller Central “Estimated fees per unit sold,” or Fee Preview.
  3. Use your tax treatment.Include only source tax you cannot recover. Confirm treatment with your accountant.
  4. Stress the assumptions.Model ads, returns, storage time, FX, and optional-program costs from your own history.

What “accurate” means

The math is deterministic. The estimate is only as current as its inputs.

Amazon itself describes calculator results as estimates and notes that actual costs can vary. RetailRadar therefore does not hardcode a full product-fee schedule or claim account-level precision. It gives you a complete, inspectable ledger for current values from the authoritative tools.

Estimate, not accounting or tax advice: Results exclude marketplace-collected sales tax from seller revenue and include only the costs you enter. Confirm current fees, tax treatment, eligibility, and the exact listing before purchasing.
